Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

This policy explains what Gold Ledger (“the app”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. The app is published by Ahsan Rao, based in Pakistan. You can reach us at ahsannisar446@gmail.com.

Gold Ledger is a simulation. All balances, prices and trades in the app are virtual. No real gold, currency or cryptocurrency is bought, sold, held or transferred, and the app never collects payment details, card numbers or bank information.

What we collect

Only what is needed to give you an account and keep your simulated portfolio between sessions:

DataWhy
Your nameShown in the app so your account is recognisable to you
Your email addressUsed as your login, and to identify you as a recipient when another user sends you simulated tokens
Your passwordNever visible to us. It is handled and stored by Google Firebase Authentication in hashed form
An account identifierA random ID generated by Firebase that links your account to your data
In-app activityYour virtual cash and token balances, and a record of each simulated buy, sell and transfer

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers for advertising, or any biometric data. The app requests only internet access.

Who processes it

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), acting as our data processor. Google’s handling of that data is governed by the Firebase Privacy and Security policy.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to any other third party. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking software.

How it is protected

All traffic between the app and Firebase is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are never stored by us in any readable form.

How long we keep it

Your account data is kept until you delete your account. When you delete it, your account record, balances and transaction history are removed — see below.

One exception you should know about. When another user sends you simulated tokens, a record of that transfer is written to both accounts. If you delete your account, the copy held by the other person in that transfer remains in their own history, and it includes your account identifier and the email address the transfer was addressed to. We cannot remove data from another user’s account without deleting their records too. No other personal information is contained in those copies.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, directly in the app: open the profile drawer from the dashboard, choose Delete Account, and confirm with your password. This permanently removes your login, your name and email, your virtual balances, and your transaction history.

Full instructions, including what to do if you can no longer sign in, are on the account deletion page.

Children

Gold Ledger is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Your rights

You can access and correct your name and email from within the app, and delete everything using the process above. If you would like a copy of your data, or have any question about how it is handled, email ahsannisar446@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
